Amanda started her barista career at Crystal Mountain Ski Resort  in 2006. Her love for coffee and customers  turned into a passion that fueled her dream to own her own espresso stand. After 9 years of trying to start her own business, it felt as though all the closed doors lead her to working a corporate job. In June 2016, her friend who owned a stand decided to sell; finally giving her a chance for her dream to become a reality. Her corporate job soon became part of the past when she flew home to her hometown, and  opened up her first location in Bonney Lake, Washington; Latte By The Lake. The first year and a half she would work she worked all shifts tirelessly on most days to build her business enough to hire more employees. She eventually built the business enough to purchase her second location. When her second large investment rolled around, Amanda decided to change the name to Rainier Valley Coffee. The name was inspired by her love for Mount Rainier, coffee and growing up in the Valley. It was a perfect fit. ⁣⁣⁣

⁣Now, Amanda has expanded Rainier Valley Coffee to 3 locations (Bonney Lake, Maple Valley and Renton) and soon will be adding a new addition, a mobile trailer.

We will never be too big to lose sight of what’s importantg; the feeling of community and genuine relationships with our customers. We hope to make a positive impression with not just our coffee but also with your experience.
